EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Supported Employment

Supported Employment enables clients with significant disabilities to enter competitive integrated employment by providing individualized assistance in finding an appropriate job match, providing ongoing support, and establishing extended services.

Job Skills
Training

Job Skills Training is for clients who need more training and support than what is provided by the employer. Training is goal-focused, teaching and reinforcing skills, and developing accommodations to increase the client’s independence and ability to meet employer expectations.

Job
Placement

Job Placement assists clients in preparing for and completing the job search process. Job Placement services help clients secure a position that aligns with their goals.

Environmental Work Assessment

Environmental Work Assessment assesses a client’s skills in at least three different work environments. This diagnostic tool evaluates how a client responds in various environments and helps identify variables that could affect the client’s ability to function at their full potential.​

STUDENT SERVICES

Work
Experience

Work Experience places a client at a business within the community short term to develop skills for long-term, competitive, integrated employment. Work Experience can take place in a volunteer or temporary paid work setting.

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) is an in classroom educational work readiness program designed to prepare students ages 14-22 for employment after graduation.

Summer Earn
& Learn (SEAL)

The Summer Earn & Learn (SEAL) program provides students with disabilities ages 14-22 with work readiness training and paid work experience. Summer Earn & Learn is a statewide strategy that includes employability skills training and paid work experience for students with disabilities.

Vocational Adjustment Training (VAT)

Vocational Adjustment Training (VAT) is a work readiness service that prepares high school students with disabilities for competitive integrated employment. The VAT service provides practical classroom instruction and activities that educate participants in work-related topics necessary for employment.
